FRIENDS ANNUAL PICNIC JUNE 14

On Sunday June 14, the Friends of Ridley Creek State Park will hold a picnic and annual meeting for all members and interested Park users from 10 am until 1 pm. The location for the event is Pavilion 14, which is off Sandy Flash Drive South. The picnic and meeting will be held rain or shine; Pavilion 14 is a sheltered site and was erected and dedicated just last year.

The day will begin at 10 am with a walk on the trails for those who are interested, led by Gary Sawyer, Trails Chair. At the same time, there will be games and sports activities near the Pavilion.

The picnic will be at 12 noon, compliments of the Friends: hamburgers, hot dogs, home-made coleslaw, beverages, and other picnic fare. Following lunch, we will report briefly on the year’s activities, vote on bylaw changes, and conduct elections for Vice-President and Recording Secretary. Current members of the Friends of Ridley Creek State Park and newly signed up members will be able to vote.
