A lot of work has been spearheaded by the Friends of Ridley Creek State Park to maintain and renovate the formal gardens located next to the mansion headquarters of the park.

In the summer of 2004, the fountain pond was completely rebuilt with the help of volunteer masons and local boy scouts.

In the fall of 2004, all vegetation was removed from the formal gardens surrounding the fountain pond, and volunteers from the Westtown School replanted it.

The Friends of Ridley Creek State Park is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization, which means that your contribution is tax deductible. In addition, any money that you donate to the Friends will benefit Ridley Creek State Park directly.
